SUMMARY:NATIONAL ARMY MUSEUM & CHELSEA PHYSIC GARDEN OF ENGLAND MUSEUM
DESCRIPTION:In the morning we will visit the National Army Museum which is the British Army’s central museum\, adjacent to the Royal Hospital Chelsea\, the home of the “Chelsea Pensioners”.  This will not be a guided tour.  In the afternoon we will go to the Chelsea Physic Garden during the Snowdrop week.  In between\, we will cross over the road where\, thanks to the kind hospitality of Edward and Dame Audrey Glover\, we will have drinks and canapés at Flat 8\, 25 Cheyne Place. \nSuggested timings are 10.30 at the National Army Museum\, 12.30 chez the Glovers and 13.30 at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  There are cafés at both the National Army Museum and Chelsea Physic Garden.  We would go as a group into the Chelsea Physic Garden.  We can see the snowdrops independently but there will be guides available although these tours are not run to a set schedule and finish by 15.30. \nThe170 bus from Victoria or Roehampton stops at the National Army Museum.  You can also walk there from Sloane Square tube on District/Circle Lines. \nApplying online:  8 places can be booked online.  Once these have been assigned\, you will no longer be able to book.  I shall email joining instructions. \nRefunds:  the cost (minus an administration fee) of booking an event will normally be refunded on cancellation up to one month before the event or up to the point where we incur expenditure for reservations\, whichever is the earlier. \nClosing date:  Wednesday 8 January 2020 \nCynthia Butterworth                     Cynthia.butterworth@fco.gov.uk\nFCOA\, Room KG.43\, King Charles Street\, London SW1A 2AH\nTel:  020 7008 0967
