DESCRIPTION:Freemasons’ Hall\, Library and Museum is Cancelled. New visit will be organised at later stage\n\nFreemasons’ Hall \nUsed as a masonic meeting place since 1775\, the current building – situated in Great Queen Street between Holborn and Covent Garden – is the third structure on this site. \nBuilt in the art deco style between 1927 and 1933 as a memorial to the 3\,225 Freemasons who died on active service in the First World War\, it comprises an impressive Grand Temple with a mosaic ceiling and an array of sculptures including the figures of Prudence\, Temperance\, Fortitude and Justice.
